Property Management Accountant: Chart of Accounts Lead
Join our dynamic team as a Chart of Accounts Conversion Specialist, where your expertise in corporate accounting, Excel proficiency, and clear communication will help deliver customized solutions and extraordinary service to our clients.
Pay Rate: $52-$57k Annual Salary
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Established accounting experience with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Online
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and analyze financial statements
- Ability to oversee execution of services, make quick judgements, and maintain priorities
- Ability to define and document new processes
- Ability to quickly learn and master new cloud-based software applications
Key Responsibilities
- Internal tasks:
- Internal email correspondence
- Team meetings
- Skill development reading
- Daily task planning
- Task-by-task time tracking
- Determine and implement process improvements and new processes
- Clearly and effectively pass off defined tasks to other ProfitCoach accountants
- Client tasks:
- Prepare for and facilitate client meetings to discuss their chart of accounts conversion
- Function as the main point of contact for the client via email, phone, or text
- Thoroughly understand the NARPM Standard Chart of Accounts (accounting standards for the property management industry)
- Correctly map client GLs and update in their corporate accounting software
- Troubleshoot problems with minimal supervisor and/or client input
- Draft cleanup entries: revenue reclassifications, payroll reclassifications, general account reclassifications

Join our dynamic team as a BI Analyst, where your skills in dashboard development, data pipeline optimization, and cross-functional collaboration will make a difference!

Qualifications and Skills:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics
Proven experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and API integrations
Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI, ClicData, or Looker
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
Competency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with migrating data across BI platforms
Background in operational or financial analytics
Understanding of data governance and best practices in a SaaS environment
Exposure to property management or service-based business models
Experience with data accuracy and integrity audits
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain data warehouses and storage systems
Develop and maintain dashboards using BI tools such as Domo and ClicData
Build, manage, and optimize data connections, APIs, and ETL/data pipelines
Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from internal teams
Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to governance best practices
Leverage Excel, Google Sheets, and Zapier to streamline data workflows

Pay Rate: $48-$56K Annual Salary
Qualifications and Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to get in the weeds, catch important details and nuance, and tie it to the bigger picture.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and processes, ensuring all aspects of hiring and onboarding are completed accurately and on time, while also staying in-tune with day-to-day functions of culture and policy needs.
- Intuition and Judgment: Strong intuitive skills to catch important details during screening calls and the ability to ask insightful, probing questions in a friendly manner.
- People Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to deliver a professional and welcoming first impression of ProfitCoach, drive meaningful interpersonal engagement of employees, and connect human needs to thoughtful development initiatives and support.
- Cultural Fit Identification: Proficient in recognizing candidates who align with both the technical requirements and the cultural ethos of ProfitCoach.

Key Responsibilities:
- Job Posting Coordination: Collaborate with department heads to detail and post job openings, ensuring accurate and appealing job descriptions.
- Sourcing Strategy: Consult with the Chief of Staff on strategies and platforms for sourcing high-quality applicants.
- Application Review: Thoroughly review applications and video introductions, assessing qualifications and cultural fit.
- Screening Calls: Conduct initial screening calls, taking detailed notes and making recommendations on whether to proceed with candidates.
- Workflow Management: Oversee the hiring process from start to finish using hiring platforms, LeadSimple (workflow automation software), and additional data tracking in external spreadsheets.
- Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring new hires have access to necessary equipment, software, and communication of expectations, and are scheduled for orientation and training with their department.
- Communication Management: Facilitate communication between new hires, the payroll team, and department heads to ensure a smooth start.
- Orientation Calls: Conduct orientation calls, welcoming new hires and providing an overview of ProfitCoach’s culture and expectations.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee benefits enrollment, compliance with compensation policies and possibly payroll administration. Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend adjustments to remain competitive within the industry and collaborate with finance to manage HR budgets effectively.
- Performance Management: Design and/or improve performance evaluation processes and systems to include 1:1s and annual performance reviews. Partner with department heads to set performance goals and provide guidance on coaching and development.
- HR Policy Support: Assist with researching and updating company policies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Team Experience Coordination (“Culture Captain”): Oversee team experience to include event coordination (e.g. annual company retreat) as well as initiatives that develop thriving day-to-day team engagement, connection, and on-brand culture.
